The 7C-CI/CD process model supports agile methods such as SCRUM by providing the overarching framework for context, clarity of objectives, and impact. SCRUM can therefore be specifically embedded and deployed.

Similar to SCRUM, DevOps can also be embedded and used in the 7C-CI/CD process model.​

The commonality between 7C-CI/CD and CI/CD in software development is continuity. CI/CD has different meanings.
